A NOTE FROM THE ELDERS…
As we begin a new direction in the life and ministry of our church, we recognize that the Lord has blessed us immensely. He has done what He has seen fit, and we have been blessed beyond what any of us could have imagined.
Most recently, the Lord has closed our opportunity to sell our facility and has seen fit that we continue to do His work from our current location. If He wasn’t sovereign, this might present some concerning realities, but we completely entrust ourselves to Him, and we also trust that the Lord would provide the resources we need to refinance and reduce our debt, since our mortgage term ends in January. We believe that rather than waiting until then, it is most prudent and responsible to make another attempt to refinance now.
Our prayer is that by refinancing, we can gain the financial freedom we need to develop and advance the Kingdom work we have been called to do. Therefore, we would ask that you join us in a special commitment to daily prayer over the next 40 days, during which time we will be working as hard as possible to find the best financing available. We also ask that you prayerfully consider how you might be able to give above and beyond your regular giving. During these 40 days, please pray that the Lord would provide you with the means to give faithfully and sacrificially in ways you might have not otherwise expected, in order that you would know that it was He who provided you with these additional resources to bless His church.
This commitment is between you and the Lord. However, in order that we might also pray specifically for these funds, we ask that you anonymously fill out the pledge below. We will then take a special offering at the church on the first Sunday in September to collect your special gifts. These funds will go toward our principal at closing.
We look forward to seeing how the Lord provides, and we praise Him for it!
